I'm glad my fic is worth staying up for. :) After having one scientist on his team killed on his watch, I don't think John would take kindly to any future attacks.
There will be more, I'll be continuing this universe after I satisfy my 2 original Deadly Sins challenges. The darker side of Atlantis is too much fun to write... *g*
