Radek stepped quietly into Carson’s office in the infirmary, shaking his head at the sight of the sleeping scientist hunched over his work.
“Carson,” he said as he gently touched Carson’s shoulder.
He was surprised when a fist lashed out and caught him on the jaw.
“Oh, good Lord! Radek, did I hurt ye? Lemme take a look.”
“It is fine. I am sorry I startled you,” Radek said, rubbing his jaw. “You could perform a full examination in our room, however…” he trailed off suggestively.
“Aye. I think that’s a brilliant idea.”
They kissed briefly before leaving the infirmary.
