awesome.
so yesterday...
got lots of sleep, and woke up around 10. did some work on my websites, and caught up on npr. watered the plants and did a little bit of tidying up. had raviolis for lunch (mmmmm tasties). and then hung around, for awhile. went out to nana's and had tasty bento. but it was just then that the greatest thing happened. while in mid conversation with someone i heard someone else reading out my email address... and i was like buahahah?? looked up and saw that someone had one of my show cards. i asked them if there was some thing specific they wanted to know about the work since i am the artist. and they totally flipped out. they were so excited and happy. they were super interested in how i made my work, and wanted to know if they could buy stuff. i gave them my website and told them to contact me if they wanted to purchase anything. and they left all smiles and excited. and then it hit me... wow. people actually like my work and want to buy it. holy hell... that's awesome!! so i felt very accomplished and it was the extra reinforcement and kick in the butt that i needed to make sure that i keep doing stuff.
anyway.... later on that day
came home tidied up. made tomato pie and pasta salad which was kind of tasty. everyone else really liked it. i think i could make it better next time though. but not bad for trying out a new recipe... go npr and your budget meal contest for providing a tasty idea. anyway... simon and sanjae joined us for a rather awesome evening of food and settlers of cattan. (<-- was the longest game ever!!!!!!!) but it was awesome.. and then i realized though... at the end of the evening that i most likely would not get to hang out with simon for a very long time.... and it made me sad. but i must say it was a fantastic evening and i hope to goodness that he stays in touch and comes to visit.
okay for now. job hunting. reviving my hands from the dead and more things!!
ps- all of my plants including the new ones i planted about a week and half ago are all growing!! and my cilantro and parsley are starting to make little leaves so awesome!!!
