green thumb emerges!!- i am not killing my plants!
so today was a good day, and thus i thought i'd jot it down... virtually. anyway here goes!
woke up at 10:34. brushed teeth AND swished!
ate a corn muffin for breakfast.
watched some star trek next generation (strictly for nostalgia purpose.... or was it?)
had lunch with braden- the best chili i have ever made! and it was completely from scratch go me!
went outside enjoyed the sun and did some productive drawing and portfolio additions were born
met up with braden came back and enjoyed the cool air in the apartment
went to the fort, picked up helen and went wegamarting.
once there i bought new seeds and pots, and many tasty things to eat courtsey of braden :)
returned helen to the fort only to find it had been unexpectedly taken under siege by guests
therefore all said members of our loligag were forced to fall back to the apartment where we cleaned.
and helen discovered how to create and declare your own country
and we listened to national anthems.
i made tasty sauce, and braden made raviolis.
and we ate them. and they were good.
more cleaning.
commenting on the stylishness of the russian army.
i planted chervil, sage, and poppies. braden planted purple flowers. and i set them in the window.
and that is how it all has gone so far today. and i would say it was a most enjoyable day.
it may not sound like much to you. but it was to me. one for the books.
ps- i am also amazed and pleased because the herbs i planted a week and half ago are growing splendidly! and i have never ever had a green thumb... but i think its starting to get that way. and this makes me smile!
