i forgot to mention
so.. i forgot to mention the awesomeness that did take place on sunday before people tried to burn down my house....
on the way to the comic shop to get magic cards, i was stopping at a stop sign (like the good law abiding citizen does these days) and i said to braden...
"get the turtle!"
and before i could finish my sentence braden had seen exactly what i did, and ran out into the street. there was a random turtle about to walk across a very busy road, and we just so happened to save him, because about one minute later he would have been incorporated into the pavement. we walked up to the nearest houses, but none were home. so we did what we thought best... and we brought him home. hes the coolest little turtle ever. we found out that its a male box turtle, and we found out what food and stuff they need. and we also named him moritemor. and hes the coolest turtle ever!!!!! but i feel bad for who ever lost him, because he most certainly belongs to someone. *sigh* im going to make flyers and report the findings to the animal shelters and pet stores, since many people dont own turtles around here, im sure itll catch the attention of his owner. it kinda sucks though, cause im growing quite found of him. :(
but he needs to find his owners... so im off to make flyers and distribute.
and for now morty adorens my downstairs bathroom in a cardboard box with a big dish of mud and a very large basin of water, with yummy treats!
