Ohhhhh - shiny! *glomps* Since Kensei & Shuuhei are my OTP, this story is a very welcome read. Stories featuring those two are rare anyways thus that makes me double happy. :)

Excellent characterization and a very realistic situation and how you have it played out in the end. (ok, I AM waiting for something like that but I have my doubts that will play out like that)

Parts reminded me of stuff I have written and it's great to see that I am not the only one who envisions Kensei's and Shuuhei's interacting as a struggle for 'correct' titles and names and addressees. hehe

Thank you for sharing this little gem. I love it. :)

I'm glad you like it so much. Personally, I ship them as well, but I've got issues with writing romance. And I'm just waiting for something like this to happen in the manga, too, but, like you, I've got my doubts.

Thanks for the nice comment!

:) You're welcome.

Really? But writing romance is not that hard and with that pairing it kinda writs itsself. ;)
Aye, a story is rarely like the fans envision it but I am sure we will see Kensei and Shuuhei meeting in some way, otherwise why show their first meeting in the Pendulum Back arc? Wouildn't make much sense, ne? ;)

I find writing romance exceptionally hard. I can set up feelings, but actual romantic situations...beyond me. No idea why, though. But yeah-this pairing does kinda write itself at least from Shuuhei's side, I think.

And I really want Kensei and Shuuhei to meet-maybe set up a comparison for Shuuhei between Kensei and Tousen? That'd be good. Because he's got to have issues about his captain running off and becoming a traitor just like Hinamori and Kira and Matsumoto (even though Gin wasn't her captain), but they haven't really been touched on.

Ahh, I see. That is sad but maybe one day it just happens and you find yourself with a lovely romance story. ;) I just started writing for fandoms earlier this year and already managed to tackle my hardest challenge - writing 'one-sentence-stories'. I love to elaborate and suddenly keeping it absolutely succinct almost killed me. Suddenly every word counted. lol

Funny, I write mostly from Shuuhei's perspective too. He IS the more approachable one between them, ne?

Ohh, that would be a very nice idea. Well, I was always surprised that Shuuhei didn't break down like the other fukutaichos because when he and Tousen were introduced he even knelt in front of him and I got the impression that he respected him a lot. Sure Shuuhei is one very disciplined individual and quite laid back but even he should have had his 5 minute break down. Maybe it will be shown in a flash back? *is hopeful*

I love one sentence stuff-I do it as writing practice. To sort of get into the mind of a character and jump around a bit in there. Some of this actually came from a 50 sentences practice thingy I did for Shuuhei. But I can see how they'd be challenging. God knows I wouldn't post the 1 sentence stuff I do ( ... )

Indeed, one reason why it is easier to slip into Shuuhei's mind is that we simply know more about him. My beta actually had a great idea how to help me approach Kensei - write him a backstory. Filled with important but also with absolute mundane details like what drink he likes and how he deals with living in the Real World. That exercise helped me a lot ( ... )
