I've been freaking out about the weight I've been gaining back over the last few weeks. I really need to get back to a regular workout routine and start watching what I'm eating, again. I have started running again which helps, but that won't be enough. I'm the biggest yo-yo ever when it comes to weight. I have to relose that 10 lbs. from earlier this year and that bites the big one.

In better news, I've had some hope on the job front. Not saying anything more until I'm more confident/certain.

I've been playing The Sims 3 a whole bunch and while handling that little household I've been handling my real household decently. I've gotten a bunch of things moved around. I have a huge pile of stuff to go to Goodwill or sit out in the alley for the craigslist vultures. My biggest challenge is still all of the papers I need to organize and toss. I don't want to do it because it's a huge job, but it really needs to get done. After I finish that just a little organization of items on shelves and this place will finally be settled. I'm hoping to get a majority of that done tomorrow. Funny, I've been here for six months and I'm just finally getting settled.

Hopefully clearing up the stuff I don't need will help me in November. I'm already planning to move up towards Glenview. Probably not exactly Glenview, but Niles or Skokie or somewhere in between. A majority of my friends live up there and it will just be easier and cheaper in the long run when I consider gas and all that stuff. I get tired of driving so much. I didn't grow up with this type of driving. I've gotten used to it, but I really don't like it. Give me long drives out in the country any day.

Finished watching first season of "The Tudors". I've moved onto and am just about finished with the second season of "Big Love". I love the library for providing me all of these wonderful shows. I'll probably be checking out Dr. Who next while I wait on more of each of the above shows. "The Tudors" is a good watch. They've really played around with history and everything is very loosely based on truth, but it's still fun. Of course it's kind of hard to have hope for any happy ending when you already know things just aren't going to end well.

My reading has been a little slow. I did finish "The Big Over Easy" which I highly suggest. It was a really well written mystery (I usually don't like mysteries), that incorporated the nursery rhyme world with the real world. I'm still slogging my way through "Tale of Two Cities" and "Saints in Limbo" and the audiobook for "The Nineteenth Wife" which is a book about polygamy... sort of.
