Apparently there is no 'real' recipe, but a type of soda is usually used in conjunction with various fruits and wine, usually red, but there's a white version as well, but the white wine should be more... well better quality.
Proper sangria should sit overnight, or at least for two hours to create flavour. It's a wine fruit punch, or something.

(Yes, I did go research Sangria a few nights ago. So whuut?!)
