simmering in my belly
i have developed a distaste for updating my livejournal...it's like some written narcotic, that i hate to take, but feel a bit of satisfaction once i do. someday i'll leave this world of blogdom and bullshit and find a different means to express myself and my daily goings-on.
i am currently eating a delicious banana-rum custard tart (which isn't "tart" at all) at Cafe M. My plans for this evening are to see Half Nelson with corrine, and perhaps alex.
friday night my friend mike picked me up and we went back to his house to eat pizza and watch LA Confidential. I crashed at his place and we went to Rockin' Johnny's for breakfast the next morning. We had a really good time. I'll admit, we've taken a shine to each other...we'll see how things pan out. He's got a pretty fancy job that keeps him quite busy, but he wants to keep seeing me.
i am happy my roommate is back. no more sasha..no more drama..no more ex-boyfriend coming around. all is well.
she still owes me money, however, so i'll have to see her eventually if i want to get it.
i am going to go shopping now...i want to pick up a Black Rebel Motorcycle Club cd..I'll perhaps go home and nap, even though I got 11 hours of sleep last night. can't be helped. it's the best thing to do on a cloudy sunday afternoon.
