bandcandy 's birthday. Happy birthday to both, and many happy returns!
Antosha threw a party for his friends that included the following gift:
The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. (this is optional; you don't HAVE to do it in return, but it would be pretty spiffy if you did)
Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.
I made a request of antosha, so I welcome y'all to make requests of me! David and Valerie have reserved seats, but I'll take requests from eight others. I love writing drabbles, and I'm in a funk because my original story is going so slowly. So I'll happily do this.
I prefer prompts that are a few words or a short sentence, but I'll do what you like. Here are the genres I'll tackle: Harry Potter (canon pairings); Lord of the Rings; Star Trek (TOS, NG, DS9 or Voyager); Lord Peter Wimsey; LeGuin (Earthsea or Ekumen); Sherlock Holmes; Heinlein (most characters & settings, although there are one or two I still haven't read); Varley's "Nine Worlds"; Hitchhiker's Guide; Doctor Who; Apirin's "Another Fine Myth."
Keep in mind that the only fandom in which I've actually written is HP, although I did try my hand at writing a TOS episode outline once. But this is drabble writing, so what the heck.
