"Oh you're back," Kyu swiveled his chair to face the other.
It was a child. He got a messy red-orange hair and he wore colorful-striped long sleeves inside his jumper but instead of holding a toy, just like any child of his age would be playing with, he got a huge knife. The huge knife, covered with blood, was pointed at Kyu. The child didn't spoke as he continued staring at the other.
"Don't you know that it is rather very rude to point and stare like that?" Kyu further arranged his already perfectly parted hair. "So what brings you here anyway?"
The other's eyes focused on the logo, a bitten apple, on Kyu’s laptop, among the other different kinds of gadgets.
"Oh, do you want an apple?" Kyu lowered his shades. "Were you hungry from all the scaring and killing you had done?"
The other didn't replied again but this time he glared and hissed at Kyu.
"Hey, that's not how you treat someone, especially not me, since I'm a genius," he finally stood up, and made his way to the basket of apples. "So how many people have you killed today?"
He didn't answered the question as he followed Kyu with a eagerness of a child, which he was supposed to be if he was not a killer. If only he can reach those delicious looking apples located at the top of the shelf then he could have not ask for the other's help.
"How many? Or I'll not give you any apples."
He lifted his small hands and showed 7 of his tiny fingers, without letting go of his knife.
"Hmmm... So you killed 7 criminals today? I really can't figure out why you are killing all those criminals even if there are police and superheroes that can handle them."
"J-Justice," the child whispered, enough for Kyu to hear, "C-Can't trust other people... especially o-old ones."
"Then why do you trust me?" Kyu smiled, he finally heard the voice of the other. It had been 4 months ever since he met this child who tried stealing his apples. Kyu gave the other apples for those months even though he recognized the other as a killer but no ordinary killer. This child only kills people who either abuses or kills children.
The blush was still visible even if there was blood smeared at the other's cheeks. He poked his knife to Kyu's butt.
Kyu laughed, "You are aware that what you are doing doesn't hurt me right? So do you really love apples?" Instead of getting an apple from the basket, Kyu got an apple from a container filled with unknown liquid. "Here."
The child looked in amazement at the apple presented in front of him. Unlike the usual apple Kyu gave to him, this one is the reddest and shiniest apple he ever saw. He immediately got closer to Kyu as he tried getting the apple.
"Come," Kyu lifted the eager child into his arms. At times like this, Kyu can forget that the child was a merciless killer of criminals. He finally gave the apple to the other, who giddily held it with both his hands while still holding his knife. "Ah I have something to say first before you eat that."
The child tilted his head with innocence as he stared at Kyu's eyes.
Kyuhyun smiled, "After you eat that... There will be major changes that will happen. Are you fine with that?"
The child looked confused for a moment.
"Don't worry. It holds a better future for you, for the two of us..."
The child looked at both the apple and knife in his hands and nodded his head. Slowly he bit the apple. After chewing a few times, he smiled. Just like Kyu, the apples smell really wonderful. Letting go of his knife, he can feel his eyes closing involuntarily.
"Sleep for a while okay?" said Kyu as he kissed the child's forehead. "When you wake up everything will be fine just like what I planned."
The child groggily nodded as he finally closed his eyes and welcomed slumber, apple still held in his hand.
"One week," Kyu spoke to Siwon through his iPhone, "I'm giving you that time span for you to catch all the remaining criminals."
“You really managed to calm him down?”
“I managed to make him sleep. Now do your job as the superhero and catch those morons. Or you’d rather have him kill them instead?”
"Killing is bad. We'll try our best. It will be not easy finding all of them but thanks to the info’s you sent us it will be a lot easier."
"Of course it will be, I stayed up all night to find where those idiots are. Do your best Siwon. Or I'll be the one killing those criminals using his knife."
Siwon laughed, "I get it. So, care to tell me why are you taking care of that little monster?"
"He's not a monster," stated Kyu as he readjusted the child in his arms, "Even though he is really special, creepy and scary, he is still a child that needs affection just like every children in this world."
"Is that the purpose why you are doing all of this?"
"Just like you it is my duty to protect the world from him -- and more importantly, protect him from the world."

yup. no need to tell me. this is weird... a fail also... gosh... I'm so cranky!
BTW! I will be in hiatus after I updated all the chaptered stories...(actually I plan to stop writing but nytslyer03 and babycloudy suggested that I should be in hiatus instead)
will try finishing the stories as fast as a lazy me can do...=_=
