Summary: Yesung is annoyed with Kyuhyun for being too honest in turning down the girls that who confesses to him. But is that what he is really angry about??

Yesung walked peacefully at the secluded place of the school bearing the trash bin that he is assigned to be emptied. “Why am I always the one who needs to throw the trash??? Life is so unfair...” he mumbled to himself after emptying the trash can.
“I’ve always liked you...” he heard a woman’s voice and when he looked at her he recognized her as one of his classmates. “I have liked you since the first time I saw you... I noticed you right away.”
‘Oh my... is she confessing? To whom???’ Yesung carefully hid behind a tree and tried to hide because he might get in trouble and he doesn’t want to embarrass his classmate if he is caught listening to the confession.
While thinking of how can he escape without getting caught he heard the girl continued talking, “I don’t know if you have any girlfriend but I really want to tell you how much I like you Kyuhyun...”
Yesung froze on the spot as he heard the name of the person being confessed with but he tried to see what is happening because there is something inside him that wants to see what will happen with this conversation. There Kyuhyun stand in front of the girl looking very cool as he is focusing with his PSP. “....I’m not seeing anyone now,” Kyuhyun not pausing the game and looked directly at the girl, who seemed got a little hope after hearing that, and said, “But I don’t want to go out with you.”
“I.. I-I am really sorry!!” with that the girl started running away from Kyuhyun, the most popular guy in school who also broke a lot of heart.
‘Thwack’ Yesung couldn’t help but hit Kyuhyun right after the girl disappeared from sight, “You’re a heartless monster Kyuhyun!!!”
“Ouch... that hurts Yesung,” Kyuhyun finally paused his console and hid it in his pocket, “I didn’t know that you are very interested in my love life,” he smirked.
Yesung blushed and glared at Kyuhyun, “I was just throwing out the trash! And I heard it by accident!”
“And you decided to finish it?” Kyuhyun asked with an amused expression as he cocked his head sideward.
“I-I.... but you still broke her heart!!!!!”
“It’s not like I told her to like me and confess to me, right? She should be prepared to get rejected. I answered her honestly. I don’t any tint of interest for her,” Kyuhyun said as he casually shrugged his shoulders and smile for a bit.
‘How cruel and straight-forward,’ Yesung thought as he unbelievably stared at Kyuhyun, who looks like a lot different when he was talking to the girl, ‘That’s the reason why a lot of people badmouth you... but still they can’t bring themselves to hate you... because you are just so....’
“..... You are being too honest Kyuhyun that it affects your social skills. That girl just now must have mustered a lot of courage to confess her feelings for you, you should have considered her feelings,” Yesung looked straight to Kyuhyun wanting him to take him seriously.
Kyuhyun’s expression became serious with the wind blowing against everything softly as he speaks, “...then, Yesung if I told you that I love you, will you go out with me?” Kyuhyun’s face is different from his usual which emits mischievousness, this time he looks really serious.
“!!” Yesung blushed once again. Feeling shocked after hearing what Kyuhyun said, ‘Why is he doing.... why is he telling me this?’
“So would you?” Kyuhyun asked again after getting no reply from Yesung.
“I-I.. I will....” ‘You must reject Yesung’ “I will... think about it,” ‘Stupid! I told you to reject it!’ Yesung bushed as he shifted his eyes downward feeling embarrassment in his whole body.
Yesung can see Kyuhyun’s feet as he walks closer to him. He held one of Yesung’s cheek softly, “...well, take your time to think,” he said before kissing Yesung on the lips. While Kyuhyun kissed Yesung he didn’t closed his eyes and continued staring at Yesung who froze on the spot.
After a minute, an eternity for Yesung, Kyuhyun smiled at him, “I’ll be waiting for your answer.” Before going and leaving a confused Yesung behind who still can’t believe at what happened.
“What are you thinking Kyuhyun?.... I can’t understand you....”

The next day Yesung still couldn’t help remembering what happened yesterday that seemed to play in replay in his mind, the way Kyuhyun rejected the girl, the way Kyuhyun talked to him, the way Kyuhyun confessed to him and the way Kyuhyun kissed him. Is this a big joke? Kyuhyun always have been mischievous to Yesung, always teasing him because of his small hands, always noticing if Yesung missed a note during music class that the teacher didn’t noticed at all, playing cute pranks, using aegyo to get what he wants from him, playfully bullying him, disturbing Yesung whenever he can, calling him corny... etc. ‘Could it be another prank or joke Kyuhyun is playing? If it is then he already got too far.... to the point of kissing me....’ Yesung’s walk became strodes in the hallway but he suddenly stopped when he saw a specific someone leaning against the window with sounds of game effects coming from the console, ‘Kyuhyun....’ he mentally said.
Kyuhyun immediately raised his head as if he was called by someone and stopped playing when he saw Yesung. The only sound that can be heard is from Kyuhyun’s console and the harsh breathing of Yesung. They only stared at each other. After a while a sound, “Game Over,” was heard from Kyuhyun’s PSP making Yesung return to his senses and realize that he had been staring to Kyuhyun for a very long time making him run away from Kyuhyun who had a sad expression in his face as he watched the other go.
“Maybe I should have not told him my feelings... he must hate me so much right now....”

“Oh Yesung! I have been looking for you!” Hangeng stopped Yesung from walking.
“? What’s the matter?” Yesung asked.
“Can you pass this to Kyuhyun? Please?”
“What?! Why don’t you pass it yourself?!”
“Please? Heechul asked me to give it to him but I’m really busy at the moment and besides, aren’t you very close to Kyuhyun?” Hangeng asked.
‘Aren’t you close to Kyuhyun?’ played in Yesung’s head in repeat. ‘Am I close to Kyuhyun?’
“The two of you always hang out with each other and the two of you talks a lot. And you are the only person Kyuhyun talks to without playing his console,” Hangeng enumerated.
When Yesung heard about that he came to realize something that he didn’t noticed, ‘Hangeng is right...’
“So please give this to him...” Hangeng was about to give Yesung the paper when.
“Hey!” The two of them looked at Kyuhyun who is behind them console in his hands, “Do you have something for me? You shouldn’t go through all the trouble. You can give it to me now.” Kyuhyun’s face is serious.
“Oh there you are Kyuhyun! I can return now to Heechul. Sorry for disturbing you Yesung,” with a wave Hangeng left the two of them.
‘badump, badump’
Yesung can feel his heartbeat steadily increasing.
“Ye-“
Kyuhyun wasn’t able to finish what he is saying for Yesung has started running once again leaving him behind.
‘Yesung why are you running? What are you running away from? Do you hate Kyuhyun?’ with that Yesung stopped in his tracks looking behind, seeing how fast he ran away from Kyuhyun.
‘Do I hate Kyuhyun? No... I didn’t want to run away... actually I really...’ he looked back again, ‘But even if I go back... I guess it will be too late.’
“Kyuhyun and I........ we can’t be together,” Yesung said aloud feeling sadness engulfing him if that would happen.
“But still........ I want to be together with him.”

“Yesung you seldom go out! You are losing your tan!” Ryeowook joked as he saw Yesung looking out of the window.
“That’s fine... You and Sungmin are still paler than me,” Yesung lazily replied to the two.
“Hey! The term was supposed to be whiter, not paler!” Sungmin answered back.
Yesung just shrugged his shoulder as he didn’t comment back.
“Something is really wrong,” Ryeowook said.
“He is supposed to argue with us by this time,” Sungmin added.
While looking out Yesung saw Kyuhyun walking with Donghae and Eunhyuk while playing his PSP. He also saw a girl trying to catch up to them. The girl talked to Kyuhyun, who is still plying the console, and gave him a gift making Kyuhyun smile and thank the girl.
‘I thought you said you like me? Is it really just a joke? Kyuhyun?’ Yesung thought while standing up and still looking out the window, looking at Kyuhyun.
Yesung saw as Kyuhyun stopped playing with his console and looked up the window seeing him and knowing the fact that he is looking at him.
Without a second to pass Yesung started walking out of the window leaving a confused Ryeowook and Sungmin behind.
“...then, Yesung if I told you that I love you, will you go out with me?”
‘Kyuhyun... why did you told me that you like me?’
“I’ll be waiting for your answer.”
‘I know now how I feel... Kyuhyun is really popular that he got a lot of confession and gifts from other people... what I saw earlier.... it made me jealous....’
Without him realizing it, Yesung is in the secluded part of the school where that girl confessed to Kyuhyun and most specially the place where Kyuhyun confessed and kissed Yesung.
He sat down under the tree where he hid during that time, “I think I can still save our friendship... it will be better for the two of us if we are friends.”
“This is really troublesome,” Yesung laughed a little, ‘I still don’t know if this thing is a big joke or whatever.... but it made me realize how much I love Kyuhyun... all this time...’
“I need to let go of my feelings now, even if it will be really painful to me,” he bit his nail fingers to relieve some of the stress in his body.
Suddenly long hands grab his hands to remove the nails from his mouth, “Don’t you think that will be painful for me too?” Kyuhyun asked smiling, “You’re biting your nails again. Your habit is returning. Should I always stick with you again?” he sat beside Yesung.
Yesung started talking, “You saw me earlier right? When a girl gave you a gift?”
Kyuhyun nodded, “She confessed to me yesterday.”
“Well that’s great isn’t it? She is so cute! The two of you will be a cute couple!” Yesung tried to hide his true feeling for Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun’s eyebrows meet and pouted, “You really don’t consider my feelings at all... you don’t know what I really feel.”
“I-I thought about your feelings!”
“No you don’t!”
“I have! I always think if this or that will be fine with Kyuhyun. Will this make him laugh? Will it all be okay for him? Will this make him happy?” Yesung covered his mouth and blushed. ‘Stupid! Why did you said that...’
Kyuhyun smiled after hearing Yesung snaking his arms round the other’s waist, “If you think that way then why didn’t you believed that I love you?”
“I-It’s because I don’t know if you are joking or what... I don’t know if this is a prank.”
Kyuhyun hugged Yesung tightly, “Why would I joke about this kind of things? I even kissed you so you wouldn’t doubt my feelings.”
“Eh?”
“Do you think I will tell people that I love them and I will kiss them out of the blue?”

Kyuhyun shifted Yesung’s face that their noses are touching each other, “I gladly repeat it for you... I love you Yesung. Yesung is the one I love the most in this world.... no Yesung is the one I love the most in the universe, so will you go out with me?”
Kyuhyun kissed Yesung again but Yesung pushed him.
“I thought you are going out with a girl!”
“Since when am I going out with her? You are the one who concluded that!”
“Then the gift and you even smiled!”
“You are the one who told me not to break people’s heart like a monster!” Kyuhyun blushed, “I was just doing what you told me and of course I rejected her... but this time I didn’t told that I’m not interested.... I told her that I already love someone... the only one that I love... you! I wanted you to love me too!”
Yesung burst out crying, “I ALWAYS HAVE LOVED YOU TOO KYUHYUN!!! At first I just want to be closer to you but I ended up loving you! I never realized that, just after you confessed everything came clearer to me... I just realized how much I love you!”
Kyuhyun grinned, “See the feelings are mutual! I love you so much Yesung....”
“I love you Kyuhyun...”

Yesung: eh?!
Kyuhyun: I have lost the game I was playing twice because of you.
Yesung: I don’t know what you are talking about!
Kyuhyun: the one in the hallway accident and the other during the window accident.
