interesting evening
So I was a social function with this very attractive 19-year old girl who I've been flirting with quite heavily recently, and I decided to leave and take her out for ice cream and a movie. I was having fun at first, but she kept talking about various drama from her past two relationships, which got annoying pretty fast.
The second warning sign was when we were about to go into Barnes & Noble while waiting for the movie to start, and she didn't want to go in because "she doesn't read books" and that there are alot of things in life that aren't that important to know (for example, she was confused when hearing that there were not, in fact, 13 continents).
The last straw was at the theater when she began text messaging DURING the movie. Now that is fucking rude. I asked her why the heck she was texting during the movie. Her response? "Oh, I was only doing it because it was xxxx," the boyfriend who she had just been through a nasty breakup with.
When she began texting again a few minutes later, I walked outside to smoke a cigarette. As I drove away, I thought it would be courteous to send her a text message, since she was obviously capable of receiving it: "Call a cab."
