was a total disaster. i had to inherit the room from the most disorganized and most likely person to procrastinate. here it is, friday, a few days before school starts and I finally have my room looking somewhat like a classroom (took forever to get his stuff out!)... phew.

still have to come up saturday. no way i can finish today.

yeah, my room has really come together nicely... it has some great decorations (i took some "stained glass" mandals i colored over spring break and put them on my wall over some christmas lights. very pretty and fun!) and the organization is really coming together.

and OMFG i couldn't imagine having to move classrooms... are they not decorated or inviting at all?

and when do you start in the classroom?! i miss you and need updates!

Nope, they're not decorated or inviting at all. I can't imagine being a student and having to sit in the same blank classroom all the time. It must be some kind of psychological thing they inflict on these poor children.

Also, you have no idea how tempted I am to send you weird, random shit from here to put in your room. XD

I start going to classes on... the 4th, I think. They technically start on the 2nd, but after the opening ceremony, they do testing, so I'm not needed until the 4th. (Tests. The day after school starts. These poor kids!)

I'm glad to hear your room is looking lovely, though! I wish I could see it. *hugs* I miss you!

jeez... that really sucks (About the rooms)... i mean i can't stand excessive elementary styled decorations in a high school setting, but seriously, there needs to be something stimulating (aside from their hot american teacher they see every once in a while) ^.~

please send me weird random shit for my room! i'm always looking and needing more of it! my newest additions are lester the alpaca and an un-named camel. i also have posted my resevoir dogs poster coz it doesn't have anythign bad on it. if i get complaints, i'll take it down, no fuss no muss.

i acutally sorta love my room now... i'll take pics tomorrow (have to head up to do more work... ugh! but i get to show higley around) and post soon :)

Haha, hot American teacher, haha. XD I seriously doubt I'm going to look very hot during school hours. Unless you count, you know, actually physically hot. Air conditioning is apparently limited. >_< D'oh. Yeah, I wish I could contribute at least a little something to the rooms - a random Texas postcard, anything. It sucks for the kids that they have to stay in totally blank rooms; if they start falling asleep, I'll be infinitely sympathetic.

Once I have a bit of money, I'm definitely going to be sending you weird, random stuff. Right now, I have surprise costs, such as a previously unmentioned $1500 deposit, and an extra $300 for my first month's rent. Luckily, I have awhile to pay the big one. Still, I'm sure my face was priceless when they gave me the sheet of paper with the money breakdown on it. (The "deposit"? Is not refunded to me. Ever.)

Your room sounds awesome. I can't wait to see pictures of it. XD
