i am what you call... a social retard...
today was our first day of inservice. meet the newbs, talk about team work, eat food, etc etc. we're seated at a big table (me, sheff, schlarmann, bunch of newbs..chatting etc.) two girls get up to get some iced tea. they return to their seats, add sugar and alas! neither of them have spoons. one stirs it with her finger. the other, being the macgyver that she is, stirred her tea with a white plastic pen. i mistake it for a tampon and proceed to tell her (gasping through my laughter and snorts) that i thought she was stirring her tea with a tampon applicator. the entire table cracks up. i think i made a friend.
