My laptop turns itself off when I move it slightly now. After a hard drive crash, screen fuckups, battery death, and apparent video module damage in the past couple of months, and now this, I give up. My new one is arriving in a couple weeks; I got one of those Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2s that lights up and crap so I can look like a huge nerd (really because I wanted the Geforce 6800 Ultra Go, though).
Also, I finally had to move out of my office at work. They hired a full time paralegal, which is what the space I was occupying was originally intended for. I now sit at a desk comprised of two computer carts on wheels in front of the network closet which I have to move when I want to open the closet. However, I still get paid more than said new person, and I am also probably under less supervisory scrutiny, which will allow me to do more schoolwork at work. Still, the window was pretty sweet.
