Amazon is stripping the sales ranks from certain books deemed to hold "adult content", in effect making them impossible to find in some searches and removing them from Amazon's "best seller" lists. I too am very disappointed. I really expected better from Amazon. I'm looking for alternatives. I buy a lot of DVDs via DVDs.

Yeah... although I don't really know why I expected better. Just wishful thinking, I suppose. :-/

Fortunately, there are a lot of alternatives by now.

I'm pretty sure Amazon will retract this policy once they realize how massively unpopular it is, and how much negative publicity it brings. Not that that will really help anymore at this point; merely instating it in the first place is a total cock-up.
