I never got the hang of Tumblr, and have sadly lost touch with much of fandom because of it - much to my regret. This is my chance! Whether fandom returns to DW or migrates to yet another platform, my plan is to jump back in with both feet. I would love to find new friends and reconnect with old ones

Guardian is a Chinese (non-animated) series that you can watch on YouTube in its entirety - with English subs, fortunately. :-)

The drama centers on a cop leading a team that fights supernatural* crime, and an immensely powerful supernatural* being pretending to be a mild-mannered professor. The professor becomes a consultant for the cop - and has also been madly in love with him for thousands of years, due to a complex set of circumstances that I won't go into right now. ;-)

It's lovely, and fun, and the relationship is shown so well, and is so intense and passionate and squarely at the center of the series.

*supernatural is not really the right word, but basically, yeah. ;-)

(Be prepared for an odd info-dump first thing, which is necessitated by censorship - the original fantasy setting had to be nominally changed into scifi, which is also why supernatural is not really the right word. It seems weird at first, but is actually really charming later on.)

Cool! :-) But be careful, you might end up addicted... it's been known to happen. ;-) (It's a healthy addiction, though. And at only 40 episodes, you won't even lose a lot of tim e, really...)
