Scandal S1

Started watching Scandal (which giandujakiss has mentioned favorably so often that I had to check it out *g*) and like it quite a bit. I do have some issues with S1 that I am going to mention, however, because it will make me feel better, and also because maybe someone will want to talk with me about them. :-)

Not going to spoil you, but I somewhat agree about the president, though my dislike, with both the president and the relationship with Olivia, didn't start until later.

Quinn's action, and the actress' performance, after she found her boyfriend dead, didn't work for me either.

OMG, how long will this affair drag on? Double argh. You'd think it'd be enough to make a woman take a step back from a guy when he replaces her with someone else, uses the exact same pet name for the new girl, and then hires his first mistress to destroy the second, swearing up and down new girl is lying and he never touched her, so help him god.

You'd think, but evidently you'd be wrong. I just do not understand what on earth is supposed to make this man attractive.

I didn't find Quinn's actress' performance objectionable in that scene; shock can take so many different forms, and I could imagine it taking this. But for god's sake, the STUPIDITY of her actions. Argh...

Again, not wanting to give away spoilers, I'll just say the whole show is a roller coaster ride.

Having now watched some of S2, I must say: argh.

Yeah, looks like that dude is not budging. I will hope for S3. ;-)
