Thanks for this. I'm still not sure I can cope with the Romans so I probably won't watch the last 7 eps but it's good to know what happened to everyone - and I'm glad my cogitations (and yours!) came to pass. And I'm really glad that Naevia died, because her character went so wildly OOC in just the first three eps that I lost all my sympathy for her and that troubled me a lot. So I'm glad she had a fitting end.
And yay for Agron and Nasir getting to walk off into the sunset!
Believe me, I know what you mean about the Romans. Still, even so I'd counsel you to give the rest of S3 a try. Now that I know how it ends, I can say with confidence that I think it's well worth it for all the other stuff. (Also, I'd love to know what you think of Pompey. He only appears for a minute, but even so. It's actually pretty funny.)
Naevia… I still don't understand what happened with her. She was a wonderful character in S2, but in S3, she seemed to have suddenly become an entirely different person. The last few eps did manage to rehabilitate her a bit, though in many ways, she was beyond saving at that point.
And yay for Agron and Nasir getting to walk off into the sunset!Yes! So much yay! Agron and Nasir were amazing. It took me a while to warm to Agron, but now he is one of my favorite characters - in large part because of S3. (I just cannot get over how much this actor conveys with a look. I'm not actually used to actors being this good
( ... )
I find it hard to compare the flavors of WTF Caesar and Pompey achieve, since they are quite different. I would say that overall, Pompey's WTF is not as radical, but perhaps even more inexplicable.
Sounds like a good plan - I think I wouldn't have enjoyed Spartacus nearly as much if I'd had to wait a week or more between every installment. It's the immersive kind of series!

Maybe I'll wait for the DVD release so I can watch it all back to back in proper immersive fashion - with a stiff drink or three at hand!
