Ah so I got Dynasty Warriors 7 a few days ago (That's probably why I didn't bother to update here - again keke)
And I have to say it's a BIG improvement from DW6, which probably everyone already knew that anyway because well - DW6 was a total fail for the franchise. I pretty much hated everything about it.
There is so much content in this version and I love the way Koei have decided to make the story modes. They are extremely long and there is so much to DO on conquest mode. Downside is that it is still a bit repetitive but I guess you'll find that with most Koei and hack/slash games. They are all repetitive. I did have a talk though with a few people and I still find Samurai Warriors my favourite because of the variation in battles. I don't know, there is just more to do for some reason and the flow seems a bit more interesting?
(Not to mention I also prefer the characters and the fact that everyone has a different weapon...)
I just wish Koei would have made everyone happy by releasing SW3 on all platforms, maybe something they'll consider with SW4?
I was disappointed when they announced SW3Z was not being released overseas, I wonder if Koei ever thinks of the foreign market but I suppose their games do sell very well in their native Japan.
