Well, LJ has certainly made a bit of a mess with this 'sponsored communities' thing, hasn't it? I don't have a particular problem with them yet, aside from wondering why they're being introduced in the first place. Is it because of money? Maybe I'm alone in this (but I don't think I am), but I would definitely buy a paid account if it would help keep this sort of thing (and ads, of course) far, far away.
I wish do people would stop with the 'LJ=Myspace' hysteria, though. I mean, over-exaggeration much? LJ isn't even close to the badly designed, ad-ridden, idiot infested, stupid flashy hell pit that is Myspace. But, you know, I really hate Myspace, so I might not be the best judge. Still, my point stands.

My 17th birthday's next week! The 11th is also the birthday of Eleanor Roosevelt and Claudia Black. Not to mention, it's National Coming Out Day! Exciting stuff, eh?
