AHOY! Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive somewhere in the dark and cold abyss that is April in Maine. I've been, erm, raaaather busy this semester as all the univ. courses I've been taking on top of senior year and music things have been sucking away at my souljuices for the past few months.
And so, here beith a quick update and a photodumped summary of bits of my life throughout the past . . . since I last updated.
1. Um.
1. Uhhh.
1. I have probably consumed about 500 or so mugs of tea since the first of the year.
2. I made it into the All-State choir! (Concert is May 19th in Portland. Mmm. Love it.)
3. Tomorrow I'm singing Mozart's Requiem for over 1600 people with UMO's Oratorio Society (in which I've been singing all year), another choir, and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. Singing it every week in rehearsal all semester has brought my soul to amazing places and I'm très psyched for tomorrow.
4. I have barely been able to start studying for the five AP tests I'm taking in a matter of days.
5. I continue to despise high school and think that my June 10th graduation date is still too far away.
6. Josh is my social life. Erin is my lover. Isaac and I have been together for over nine months. Asa is my awesome. Lianna is hotness even though she went to frkn' India without me. I have many, many loves (aka. whoever is actually reading this).
7. I got all my wisdom teeth out and AAAAAAAHG I AM SO GLAD I NEVER HAVE TO DO THAT AGAIN.
8. I miss my red-haired, world-hopping Elizalaire.
9. I WILL BE ATTENDING SMITH COLLEGE!
10. I still don't sleep enough.
11. Umm.
Josh and I helped rock out the From Every Village Green peace rally in the bitter March cold. And it did rock.
I have loved my Sunday afternoons with D, C-Spice, and her lovely candles.
Lots of babysitting.
Isaac came in February.
Maine is cold.
(After it warmed up 10 degrees.)
Ber is still a handsomely loveable loveslut.
Charlee is still ridiculous.
Josh, Jesse, and I are artistic masterminds in April blizzards. This is Jacques the Snow Bunny.
Mom and I enjoy making new friends.
I had a fabulous April vacation in Boston and Ithaca and other various places.
There is now lots of floodage.
Et voilà.
I have also become rather obsessed with my flickr site, which can be found conveniently at this link.
