Day 5: Warranting a Warranty

Mar 25, 2010 13:21

Well, the carpet should be coming in this Saturday, but no specific time scheduled yet. But on the flip side, I got ahold of the AC unit tech who worked on my AC unit. Seems the T-Stat is shot, as well as the AC Blower Motor. The company will be out at 9AM tomorrow to fix the problem, and it'll only cost me $425.

The problem is, for 450 bucks, I could have gotten the whole house under warranty, back when I was signing paper. *muzzlepalm* So yeah, that 425 is going to be out of pocket. Not a huge disaster, but it's still sort of a kick in the tail that I didn't get the warranty now. But, I can still get the warranty if I want. I have to admit, that the idea of getting it and covering my tail from now on is sort of a comforting idea at this point.

Otherwise, life goes on. Oh, and I was right. I'm now to 70% time at my first office, but that doesn't really effect me or when I'll get to the office as much just make it easier for the company to pay my paycheck. I still have a job and now a house, and I'm still okay. So hey, it's not all bad news. In the grand scheme of things, it's really pretty good, considering how many others have it worst off than myself.

Still pokewalking my 'mon around. Leveling up some of my very awesome birdy types. I'm a dork, I know...
