Day 1: Tales of the House Ferret
Woke up at the house today. The computer desk and computer are set up, but otherwise, most of the stuff are still hanging out in boxes. That's not bad, it's just a problem with finding stuff.
Oh, the carpet will be put in when it arrives. No date on when that will happen but it shouldn't be too long. Until that comes in though, the living room is off limits for setting up.
Back to waking up though, I turned on the water to soak a bit and found out that the hot water wasn't so hot... or existent. I think the breaker was turned off when they had to replace the leak I had. Whoops. So yeah, cold ferret headsoaking. Not the way I wanted to wake up this morning but what can I do?
But all that's left at the apartment is my vacuum cleaner and a big mirror that really needs to be transported in a car and not the back of a small truck.
Not bad for a first night in the house, but today will be my first full day in it. So welcome to Day 1.
