NXE & Work

Well the New Xbox Experience was downloaded last night, and me, I did what I always do. I spent a good 30 minutes just tweeking my avatar till I was begrudgingly okay with it. No ferrety face paint, but they do have a nice stripe I put over my eyes. So at least I can look sort of like a ferret that way. But they need more clothes, but that'll be coming every 2 weeks.

It does have a tendency to 'freeze' for a bit in the Friend section, but if you give it a minute, the system will eventually catch up. Also, I hate the new marketplace. The old one was easier for me to find all the free themes and gamertiles and download them lickity split. Now, not so much. I do like a few things about it. Like the Party system. But everything's so new. It's hard to get around inside the new setup. And there's some connection issues, at least for me. Kept dropping from the party for some reason. No clue why yet, but with these big time releases, issues are pretty much standard operating procedure for a few days.

In work related news, I hate field offices. A new one started up in St. Johns County, and they just got their phone and internet service yesterday. So I asked for all the information that the office was given, and the stupid head field office guy tells me "Oh, I don't have it. I'm here at the DOT. Just get it all done." HOW? He didn't tell me anything useful at all. It would have been akin to me asking him to "Build a bridge. You've made those before. Make it happen." You can't just DO that without information, moron! GAAAAAAHHHHH!

And that's why I don't like to talk about work. Because I deal with morons with degrees.
