Ok, so I downloaded the demo of
Too Human for my 360. The game is sort of like a huge collision of mythology, science, fantasy, and just some dooked up stuff in general. Oh, and because the idea of having Viking warriors fighting robots in ancient and icy castles with the assistance of cybernet based fae, they just happened to make the game in the grand ol' style of Diablo 2, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and all those other fighting adventure RPG games where you get to equip yourself with neato items and break all the crates and vases or whatever is appropriately based breakable item to get stuff out of. Seriously, In M:UA, you break vases and boxes and get XP.
But anyways, so here you have your Hero character, and your purpose is to jump, hack, shoot, slice, explode, and pistol air juggle your way through all this stuff. And you know what? It was really dookin' cool. Oh sure, the controls are a bit weird to use since you use the Left stick to move around and the right to swing your big MANLY sword/hammer/staff in whatever direction, but then there's also your pistols or rifles as well.
If you're a big Norse mythology fan, you might be interested in this game. If you like Diablo 2 or games like that, you might be interested in this game. And if you like both... well, this game is like a big dose of WTF with a very shiny wrapper.
Definantly something I need to keep my eye on for next month.
