My father called me and rambled on something about some job with CSX last night. Uh, what sort of job requires you to take a 14 week class that costs $5000, so you can work on a train in some position that my father didn't know. Literally, thats all I know about the job. Responsibilities

Object Oriented Design & Object Oriented Programming. Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office application suite including Word, Excel, and Visio. Experience and comfort in working in a Windows-based PC environment. College level coursework or work experience performing system design and application development is desirable. Experience working in a mainframe MVS environment is desirable.

Other Requirements of the Job:
Applicant must be able to quickly grasp unfamiliar concepts and master unfamiliar technologies in a dynamic work environment through individual, personal training without the necessity of formal classroom instruction. Applicant must have good problem solving, organizational, and time management skills. Applicant must exhibit excellent English language oral and written communication skills. Applicant must also possess sound judgment, effective follow-through, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work in a team environment. Applicant must be willing to work on multiple hardware and OS platforms, conform to CSX development and documentation standards, and follow guidance from experienced team leaders.
