“I feel like I'm dying,” Donghae spoke in a monotone as Hyukjae re-entered the bedroom. “Come here, Hyukkie.”
“You have a fever, so yeah, you're going to feel like crap,” Hyukjae stood in front of Donghae who was sitting on the edge of his bed. He placed his hands on his hips and frowned slightly, “Promise not to get me sick and I'll stay the night.”
Donghae smirked in response, “You were going to stay either way. That being said...” Donghae grabbed Hyukjae's hips and slipped his fingers underneath the waistband of his sweatpants. “I cannot promise that you won't get sick. That's a request you have to take up with your immune system. Hey...” Donghae frowned and cocked his head to the side, looking quizzically up at Hyukjae. “Why did you tie your pants?”
“It's my way of saying 'I'm not feeling it tonight.'”
“Am I undesirable?” Donghae pouted and tugged on the fabric of Hyukjae's pants.
“If I answer honestly you'll get mad. But that actually will work out in this situation...” Hyukjae paused for a moment, “ So yes, right now, yes. I don't want you to throw up all over me.” Hyukjae placed his knees on either side of Donghae, hovering over his lap and placed his hands on Donghae's shoulders.
“It's a fever, not the flu. And I'm supposed to sweat it out anyway- you're my medicine. Help me feel better,” Donghae grinned as he fell back on the bed, pulling Hyukjae down with him. Hyukjae pressed down on Donghae's shoulders and looked down at Donghae with a warning in his eye. In response, Donghae pressed his palms against the other's stomach, pushing away the fabric of the t-shirt until Donghae could feel the expansion of Hyukjae's abdomen with each breath he took.
“As much as I would love to indulge you, you need to rest. And I'm tired,” Hyukjae pecked Donghae on the cheek. At the gesture, Donghae's furrowed his brow and pinched Hyukjae's sides.
“Ouch! Donghae!” he sat up away from Donghae and rubbed his sides through his t-shirt. “Why did you pinch me?”
“Because you're not listening to what I want.”
“So it's cool to claw at my sides, then?” Hyukjae frowned seriously. “I listened when you called me to come over, do you want me to leave?”
“No, no, no, no, I'm sorry,” Donghae grabbed the other's hands. “I didn't mean it, really, I'm sorry.”
“Apology accepted.” Hyukjae stood up and moved to the other side of the bed before laying down. Donghae quickly crawled over to his side and latched his arms and legs around the frame of Hyukjae. Struggling for a moment, Hyukjae pulled a blanket over the pair and settled himself next to the other.
Donghae hummed and readjusted his limbs, “After all that fighting, I'm worn out.” Hyukjae rubbed the other's back soothingly, their breaths evening out to match each other.
“But seriously, don't get me sick.”
In response, Donghae blew air into Hyukjae's face with a small smile, closing his eyes.
