IT'S OVER!
I decided to finally sit down and write the last few pesky Dailies for my website. I have offically completed 365 days of updates for the year 2005. If I ever decide to do such a task ever again, someone please have me committed.
Okay, maybe I could handle it if I was getting paid for it. I mean, if running my site was my job (like Witchvox) then it would be a totally different story. But it's not so people get what they pay for, eh?
I feel like this huge weight has just been lifted from my shoulders. I can finally go to bed at night at a more decent hour instead of sitting here for 2 hours trying to figure out what to write. And yes, I've done that. Many times. When I first started the dailies, they were posted almost around midnight every night. The past few months? I'd set up the page to post a new daily around 11:30 pm...and still be awake until 2 trying to find *something* to post.
So that's a huge relief. I still will have to post them over the next few nights (especially since we're going up to Virginia for New Year's) but at least they're written. I'm not entirely happy with the last few, but they're done.
Of course, I haven't written the first Weekly yet. And that has to be done before the 30th. Guess I ought to figure out what kind of structure I'm going to use for those posts. But...I'll do that later this week. I just want to bask in the completion of the self-appointed project and celebrate that I stuck to it.
And get lunch.
