So tired I forgot to take my contacts out when I went to bed.
So tired I didn't notice when I got up this morning.
So tired I didn't even notice when I took my shower.
When did I notice?
After my shower when I opened my contact case and they weren't there. But I still didn't realize it. I looked in my spare contact case too. It was only after pondering this issue for a while that I realized I was somehow able to see quite well despite the certainty I had taken them out and had no idea what I had done with them last night.
A tentative tap on the eyeball later, and it was confirmed.
