One note, then bedtime...
Had the SOLP Beltane ritual tonight. Good times. I was nervous at first, but once we got into it, it was like slipping back into a cozy pair of jammies. I've missed leading a ritual, and didn't know it until tonight. It was like returning to a comfort zone.
Granted, I was a bit stressed about making sure everything else was just right, and I wish I had gotten my white dress done in time, but I'm glad I had the blue completed and in my closet. I finally had the chance to wear it in public, and what a great opportunity to do so.
Special thanks to cdoebler for being my partner in crime, jenna3 for being the music chick and bearer of the mead, and estuelke for sticking it out even though I KNEW you wanted to cop out for the entire night. More thanks to those who brought the food. And *HUGS* to all who came and put up with a slight deviation from the norm.
I think I grounded out more energy than I should have. Or maybe I am just coming down off that adrenaline high. Got a bit of a headache from the weather too.
In any case, it was a good night. Despite not having an outdoor ritual like we had originally planned, I hope you all enjoyed the evening as much as I did.
I'm thinking a cup of tea and then bed is in order.
