"You sound like an old married couple!" Djaq laughed but suddenly realised how lonely John must be with Much gone

"Less of the old, thank you."

I love the way you write LJ!

Another brilliant chapter that takes me away from the reality of Series 3. Thank you!

I love the way you write LJ!

Thank you! And someone has to! (Write him I mean - not love the way I write him!)

I love the stuff you've done with him as well.

Never understood why others seem to shy away from writing John. I'm sure it can't just be my total obsession with Gordon Kennedy that lets me hear LJ so well... :D

Oh, that's brilliant.

I especially liked the part where John talks about how Robin doesn't see the peasants as individuals. That's always been my grouse with Robin (and even Marian and possibly Djaq). I think John gets it absolutely right when he attributes it to Robin thinking more and more like a noble.

Well done.

Thank you!

I actually wrote this a while back and was pleasantly surprised by Allan's comments to John in 3x11 where he tells John they need him to remind them who they're fighting for. Tied in quite nicely with this I thought.

Doesn't apply in the world of Denial of course but in S3 I think Robin has let Tuck go to his head a little bit... ;D

Aww, that was a really sweet little scene, especially nice to see John open up a little more. Well done :)
