Oh I loved the camp scene, Robin seems quite lost without Much as well as Marian, his thoughts on Much and the stars made me go 'aww'! Love the developing relationship of Djaq/Will, John's quite watching of everyone, lovely to see them all working together despite the subtractions to the gang as a whole.

And Marian & Allan also looking at the stars, everything tied in together so nicely. And Vaisey's sleepwalking moment! I love how this flows with the timeline yet tells a story all it's own.

Great part!

Thank you! I really enjoyed writing this, particularly Will/Djaq - they're such a cute couple (in every sense).

Makes me realise how much I miss Gang stuff in S3 but that's the whole point of Denial isn't it? We can make our own...

The story will continue with Much & Carter traveling on a ship to the Holy Land. A proper knight must know how to read, write and count...

aww, lovely chapter! Will and Djaq are very sweet, love that Robin realised too late he'd told them that he was going to Clun, and John being all fatherly was nice :)
"Much always liked looking at the stars. Said no matter where we were, as long as he could see the stars and know they were the same as the ones over Locksley, he'd be fine. They were the only familiar thing he had to hold on to." love that, and the little bit at the end with allan and marian looking up at the stars too.
great work! xx

Coming to the party late as usual, but great chapter. Way to step in there and take up the reins.

I also love the inter-connectivity (yes, it is a word!) of the stars between those at camp and those at the castle - they're ALL "the gang" to me. I also love the fact that Allan is the odd man out in his interpretation of the stars. So fitting.

Thanks! Better late than never and thank you so much for commenting!

Allan might have a heavenly body but it doesn't mean he likes the celestial ones... ;)
