I was starting to index some older stories over in the FIC index and my head got muddled. (No comments from the peanut gallery, okay? Yes, I admit, I am easily confused... )
DeNile is a subset of AU, right? For example, Guy/Marian stories that take place during series 1 or 2 are usually AU or extensions of the general UST of the show. Guy/Marian stories that take place after 2x13 or have Marian marry Guy in 1x12 or anywhere in series 2 like WalkAbout are DeNile. Carter stories that take place during 2x08 are AU but fics where Carter either did not leave Sherwood at the end of 2x08 or survived in 2x13 are DeNile. Will & Djaq in Sherwood post series 2 are DeNile (unless the writers bring them back in s3 or s4)!! Other examples?
