Hi folks! Hope everyone is well.
Had a meeting with our lawyer on Thursday. It was short and went well. Basically, we made sure he had all the correct medical contact information and signed the medical release of information forms. He said it would probably be a few more weeks before the next step, which would be beginning to talk about numbers. And as far as a suit goes, we will wait to see what kind of settlement their insurance company offers first. If it's laughable, then we'll go ahead and file suit. All in all, so far it's been an ok experience with the lawyer.
So yesterday, Friday, I finally got to have lunch with my very good friend! It was great, even though she only *thinks* she talked too much! We went to Vaqueros, a local Mexican restaurant. It's my, and Kim's, favorite place in town.
It was good to catch up, we really should get together more often.
Well, therapy is coming along. I'm making huge progress with my hand wrist and arm! But rather slow progress with my knee. But at least there *is* progress! Oh more good news, the hemorrhoids are under control so far, yay! But slightly sad news, I need to have the doctor look at my right shoulder. I don't have full range of motion like I should. It's been like this for a while, since the hospital, but I thought it was just a knotted muscle or something that would correct itself. It hasn't.
