All right, so I am a coward -- under certain circumstances -- mostly involving teen-aged girls (not a good thing for a high school librarian, granted, but I never chose this as a career path...). But that's only to be expected, one supposes. Years of single-sex education, and they expect us to magically be able to relate to women after we leave school.

(Even my College at University was all-male when I matriculated.)
