Working in a lab today, don't even know if it should be open, nobody's around, I'm only here because they've gone to the trouble of proving they'll crack the whip if I'm not...but hey, one hour down, three to go.

Also, I wouldn't normally have done this but I was coerced by a friend into taking this: http://www.hotlanta.com/kinktest.htm (please, read the link before clicking!) and I pulled a 78 (out of 700). My percentile rating on that test has to suck. :-P

So ends another week of school and I don't think I could be more eager about leaving for the summer. I'd kind of like to get whatever relaxation I can between all the work I'm going to have to do (and I'm being optimistic but, at least one grad party for the whole summer) and I am definitely prepared to leave key aspects of this university for a little while. (I've had about all the liberalism and socialism I can take for ten months in this place. Maybe it's becuse I got some strong double doses around October-November time? I don't know. :-/) Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing the people back home I know who:
-[even occasionally] answer their phones
-might miss me some, at least half as much as I miss them (I can hear the comments now: "we want names!" :-D)

Anyway...

I shouldn't have waited this long to write about it but nothing else happened that was worth writing about, so here we are: I did go to Atlanta to see my friends at the FIRST national championship. :-D I did have a lot of fun, got to see so many people I haven't seen in a year. They didn't wind up doing too well, but it was worth every penny (even the 10,000 of them I overspent. :-)), every hour on those buses...thanks, guys. Went to the team party with them, couldn't quite do the rock wall. (This could be a combination of things, but probably the two big factors are that I didn't have the right shoes for such a task and that I'm not so near the level of physical fitness that enabled me to beat Doc a couple of years before. :-/ Have to work on that) But in any case, I had fun with my hosts. Call me when Sweet Repeat rolls around. :-)

Also, kind of in that vein, a mentorship prospect came up for me. I've been hearing a little bit of chatter about the schools in Henrietta wanting to come together and start a team...

Well most of you I've probably bored by now so I'll cut this off.
