inspired by a post by candy
i am mainly posting because it's really been far too long.
now we've cleared that up....
i have decided a few things since my last update; key among them being to join the reserve, then not. Also to change my degree to mechatronics, then also not.
And lastly to take a leave of absence from uni for a semester or two, one resolution which still stands.
In the interim, i plan to work. Because it's nice to get some kind of reward on a regular basis, something which i feel uni wasn't providing me, and something which i have discovered that, through some mental fucked-uped-ness of my own, i do require.
Perhaps i will fare better if i can find someone for 'close emotional support'. I'd like to think so, because it sounds like some kind of obtainable solution.
Then again, given my track record with relationships... (For those that don't know, can be summed up with two words, 'desparate' and 'hopeless').
... maybe it isn't so obtainable after all.
Perhaps another year will tell, or more likely i'll just have to make another new year's resolution to keep last year's resolution to get a girlfriend.
