During the long, boring 2-hour drive home from my campaign meeting in Cornelius, I pondered 'muggles', and how it's used in geo-caching.
Such as: "Beware of muggles nearby." So a Harry Potter term insinuates itself into other jargon, and who knows... perhaps more general usage.
You have to love language... it's constantly changing... never the same from one moment to the next.
It makes me wonder about attempts to lock it in, either through proper and improper usage (can't say ain't), or which words are considered obscene, particularly those we all know about, even if they get bleeped on tv.
Isn't the point to simply be understood?
