The first project is on the relativistic corrections required for GPS.
The second one will be on the formation of the Moon:
In this project you will discuss the formation of the Moon and the subsequent evolution of the Earth-Moon system. You should list all the possible formation scenarios for the Moon, highlighting the pros and cons of each scenario.
To achieve high marks for this project you should discuss the effects the formation of the Moon may have had on the Earth, as well as subsequent effects on the Earth, such as tidal effects, and evolution of the Earth's rotation rate.
