I am not a big fan of reading…nor writing but this class is changing a little my mind. I enjoy reading stories that you could relate to real life, like the story “This is what it means to say Phoenix Arizona” . The first time I read this story I understood that it was talking about friendship and how important it is to forgive someone. The story itself caught my attention and only wanted to read more and more. I thought I could write about this for my paper but then when I read it again I totally got another meaning for the story. I decided to go with my second choice because I thought it was much easier to write about. For this paper I wrote about how poverty affects the life of Native Americans. (well I think…I don’t remember anymore hahaha) I know it had to do with poverty at the reservations and how the author of the story used satire to emphasize on that problem. I hope I did well on that paper because I dedicated a lot of time to it. I did a lot of research on the author and I learned that his life was just a mess before he actually became a writer. That only made me think that it is never too late to be successful in life. If one really wants to succeed then perseverance is the key.
I am not a good writer at all and for me to write 4 pages was a miracle…. I struggled a lot but I finished the paper on time.
