Ya know, I subscribed to the Friday Five list, and I don't think I've ever actually posted one. Now seems like a good time.

1. What would you do right now, if money were not an issue?
2. What would you do for the next three years, if money were not an issue?
3. What is bringing you the most joy right now that requires little or no money?
4. What types of things do you find enjoyable that require no money?
5. Is there anything you've been meaning to do for a long time, but put off because of money?

1. Quit my job and immerse myself in school.
2. See above.
3. Umm, honestly?  Masturbation.  Life ain't exactly great right now.
4. Heh.  Again, see above.  I mean, sex is awesome but I'm way too into activities that require accessories to consider that hobby even remotely "free."  Even with none of that, we still need lube, and the good shit ain't cheap.
5. I've been putting off a lot of car maintenance.  I'm getting to that.  Put in a claim for the damage, doing research on the suspension stuff it needs, etc.  It looks like I'll be dropping $1600 plus in the near future on parts, and up to another $1750 for insurance deductibles.  Looking so forward to that.

In other news, I refinanced the loan on the car.  Went from 9.59% to 5.85, and the payment dropped nicely.  The bank lady told me my credit score was 750 on the nose, which deserves a nice hearty w00t!  (the last time I checked, *several* years ago, it was around 640, so this is good).

Sorcia seems to be back in the land of the not-freaking-out which is outstanding.  I'm still feeling the effects of the whole thing, but I'm optimistic.

Last night at work, the Global Director of IT (the guy who signs our contract) came to me and asked me to back up his data and then re-image his machine.  Unfortunately, I kind of spaced on the backing up of the data.  So I came in early today, and have been dealing with the repercussions and recovery attempts.  I fucked up big, and it's not fun.  People have been surprisingly nice about it, but it doesn't help.  I still feel like complete ass.

So that's where I'm at right now.  Or, at least a brief summation thereof.  I'll do my best to update more often.
