Back online, until....well when the nhs give me an appointment

Well, the plan was, go to glasgow last tuesday home on saturday night and ta-da. but no...
the nin gig was great but everything has been overshadowed by an evil, an evil that my body has created and it is an evil that i have to wait on an nhs waiting list to get removed.
Late last thursday nite i wasn't feeling too hot and into friday morning i woke with a soul shattering pain that felt like i'd been harpooned to the bed. I was totally unable to move then somehow made it to the loo to throw up my entire days food. Friday i was ill and saw a dr in glasgow, saturday on the train i was in crippling agony and puking in the loo the whole way up. Early hours of sunday morning, after being sent home from a and e having been told i'd be fine, i was rushed to the hospital in the ambulance. I couldn't keep any food or medication down, i was in so much pain i thought my insides had burst and i was dying, everyone kept saying it was too much stomach acid but it i couldn't do anything about it.
well, 4 days in hospital later, an ultrasound scan and several blood tests later i'm home, covered in holes adn black and blue and awaiting a date to go in and get surgery for.......not stomach acid but GALLSTONES!!!!!!!
apparently i've had gallstones for a while, probably started during pregnancy, i knew my heartburn making me sick wasn't normal! but one of the little buggers got loose and blocked my pancreas giving me a hightened temperature and pancreatitus. i've had anti biotics, iv fluids and slowly let back onto food and i'm home adn well now, still on antibiotics adn pain killers until everything is back to normal, but i'm home with the stones in my gallbladder too! i have to wait for an appointment for an op to remove it, i hope nothing like this happens again before i get them out!!!!

but i'm back now and not dead :)
normal(ish) service resumed.

*hugs*

btw, NIN were great, but we missed the meet and greet as we didn't know there was one and we had a date with a hair dye bottle :) Trent is still looking good and seems to be really enjoying touring :)
