Well that was fun. Yep. Yay in a basket. The coat check was reasonably smooth. (got about a weeks worth of excercise) No complaints about the night either. Would have been nice to leave a little earlier and avoid daylight and the trashy demise of the party, but still managed to hightail it before the bitter end at least! I'd been stressing about organising that coat check shift for the last week so it's such a relief that it's done with. Danceoffs aplenty. (I seem to be a constant source of bemusement for everyone since I dance like a bush doofer, haha, it's funny after years of doof dancefloors it's really impossible to shake the way one relates to the music like that) So much fun though. Cute chikorz, flatmates, old friends, new friends... followed by sleeping it all off with a purring cat and a day off. I rekon if there was a dial-a-massuer here to fix the crick in my neck my world would be complete right now. Well almost... :)
PS I HIGHLY reccomend sneaking booze in to big scale events ANY WAY YOU CAN!!! I went through a whole night at a party with ridiculously overpriced drinks and spent all of 15 dollars on beverages. (add a cab fare, an extra tidbit or two and the fact volunteers get in free and I reckon you've got worlds cheapest party. (all thanks to two hip flasks of tequilla) May sound skeezy, but $9 a drink at venues like that is the biggest freaking rip off and I'm sure as hell not going to keep supporting that. Werd.
