busy day
Today was a Saturday of several Saturdays all scrunched into one Saturday. I wasn't able to do everything that I wanted, but I made an appearance at a party for a soon-to-be former co-worker, speed-read a book, grocery-shopped for an impromptu custom plate-designing kid-party that Candace was throwing, and didn't miss my book club for the third month in a row.
I'm disappointed that I didn't get to bond with Candace's sister and cousin (best friend). There were a lot of competing interests, and I really felt pulled in too many directions. Apparently they all had a great time and are really excited about having another get-together soon. I'll be there. I'll interact. I won't be too busy speed-reading a book.
