My boss's response to me politely shoo'ing one of the most sensitive, vulnerable male law clerks out a seat at our meeting table to make room for a senior staff attorney who came to the meeting late:

"[Reyn], you know, sometimes I swear you have the social skills of a sidewalk. Jesus Christ!"

What?! I just wanted to see if he would actually move. He was just about to stand up. So funny.
