Group dinner? ... and ethnocentrism

Anyone up for Zeman's or Sushi on Friday evening, followed by Ironman 2?

And lastly, I've reached the point where I'm finding myself surrounded not only by light-hearted slights at the French, but thorough ethnocentrism.   I'm not okay with it.   France is not that bad.   Nice place, a lot of decent people, and several key cultural differences which have arisen from a history very differently from the U.S. ... so they approach things like war differently.   In your book, that may be cowardice, but it's not in theirs.   And while I can allow up to a point that this difference is one of the many ways we form distinctions between cultural identities, there's no need for it to be carried on in such a anti-social manner.   Stop being that guy - I am going to tell you exactly what you're doing and how you're presenting yourself if you do.
