Last week...actually it was the week before last, which shows how lazy I am with posting, I was able to do two of the things I needed to do before the end of hot weather. One was to float the Boise River, which I really ought to do more than once a year anyway. The other was to eat one of the Cadbury eggs that I had stored since Easter in the full summer sun. So I'm okay with the onset of what many call Indian Summer, which is my favorite time of year. It's so nice to be able to enjoy the season turning without bumming over having to go back to school or being sent back home after a temp job.

Later this week I'm going up to Riggins to sling some fish around.
