DST will destroy the world
Just listen to this very lucid and informed citizen from a hill-surrounded enclave near the town in which I live, speaking on the dangers of the newly added four weeks to Daylight Saving Time:
"Global warming is nothing other than the planet's response to this additional sunlight each day during the warmer months. Global warming will increase with the recently added weeks of additional sunlight."

Read the letter (the one at the bottom). He really seriously seems to think that the amount of sunlight hitting the Earth (or just America?) increases when we roll our clocks ahead*. And most likely, the guy canceled out my vote last year.
My biggest problem with DST, aside from having to rejigger my computer clocks at home and at work, is the fact that now it will get dark later on Halloween. I'm a bit of a purist, in that I believe trick-or-treating is to be done in darkness. I suppose parents think it will make their sprogs safer. Feh.
* Or else he's just joking, in which case he needs a serious lesson in satire and joke framing.
